What does the trust architecture actually do with the data? Zero-retention, air-gapped, human-in-the-loop. Ask for the data flow diagram of the AI features, and the compliance documentation for the regulated environments.

Who will own the vendor at renewal? The private equity signal is the buyer's risk. Ask about the ownership structure and the product roadmap's funding, because MES contracts outlast ownership changes.
