Editorial Ethics Policy
The standards Mavengity's newsroom holds itself to.
Editorial independence
Mavengity is editorially independent. Advertisers, sources, and the subjects of our coverage have no influence over what we report or how we report it. Every article on this site carries this disclosure for the same reason.
Accuracy and sourcing
Every factual claim in a Mavengity article is traceable to a primary source, a court filing, a regulatory filing, a company disclosure, a peer-reviewed study, or established reporting, cited inline and again in a "Further reading" list at the end of the piece. We do not pay sources for information or interviews, and we do not use anonymous sourcing except in rare cases with editorial sign-off.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it as soon as we're aware of it, directly in the article rather than quietly. If you spot an error, use Contact Us to let us know.
Conflicts of interest
Our authors do not accept payment, gifts, or special treatment from the companies, institutions, or individuals they cover, and disclose any relevant financial or personal interest that could reasonably be seen to affect their coverage.
Medical and legal accuracy
Healthcare & Medical coverage follows the same sourcing standard as the rest of the site: clinical claims are traced back to primary sources such as clinical trials, regulatory actions, and peer-reviewed research, not simplified into false certainty. If you disagree with a medical statement in an article, email medical_disputes@mavengity.com.
Legal claims across the site, including in articles outside the Legal category, are researched and reviewed by our legal author for accuracy.
Use of AI
AI tools support our authors' research and copyediting; they do not write our articles. See our AI Policy for the full detail.
